Our classic wholegrain rye bread is crafted from locally sourced wholegrain rye and baked with our sourdough following a traditional family recipe. You can discover the differences between wholegrain rye flour and ordinary flour in the Stories section of this website. Ideally, we should eat wholegrain bread everyday as it provides significant amounts of nutritional energy, dietary fibre, phytochemicals and essential nutrients.  

 

 

Consuming more wholegrain rye bread helps to protect against cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure and type 2 diabetes. Wholegrain Rye bread not only provides us with carbohydrates and protein but is also rich in Vitamins B1, B2, B6, Niacin, Folate, vitamin E and pantothenic acid, which helps to counteract tiredness, whilst also providing the minerals calcium, magnesium, iron, zinc, copper, manganese and chrome.
